Inaugural Lecture Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Kelan, Dahlem International Network Professorship for Gender Studies 2017–18
Gender equality is near the top of organizational agendas. However change efforts such as mentoring, networking and flexible work arrangements often focus implicitly or explicitly on women. This raises the
question of what men can do to foster gender equality in organizations. In this lecture Professor Elisabeth Kelan will discuss her research on men as change agents for gender equality. A particular focus will be on the actions men can take in daily, mundane workplace interactions to support gender equality.
Elisabeth Kelan joins Freie Universität Berlin as a visiting professor for the Winter Semester 2017 – 18. She is the director of the Global Centre for Gender and Leadership at Cranfield University, UK and in 2016
she received the Leadership Award for the Most Influential Leadership Research and was voted one of the Most Influential Thinkers by Human Resources Magazine.
