Dr. Kathrin Zippel (Northeastern University, Boston)
Kathrin Zippel is Professor of Sociology at Northeastern University and was IRC Senior Fellow at the Freie Universität Berlin. Her recent publications have explored gender and global transformations of science and education see Women in Global Science: Advancing Careers Through International Collaboration (Stanford University Press) and focused on organizational change processes in science and higher education institutions.
Dr. Kyoko Shinozaki (Paris Ladron University Salzburg)
Kyoko Shinozaki is Professor of Sociology “Social Change and Mobilities” at Paris Ladron University Salzburg. She is a transnational scholar, with degrees in Law and Sociology (Japan; Habilitation in Germany), Political Science (USA) and Gender Studies (UK). She has been publishing on the issue of gender and migration/mobility, transnationalism, institutional whiteness, and sustainability, while serving to provide critical policy-related expertise.
