Greg Rupik is a PhD candidate from the University of Toronto's Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology whose research focuses on German Romantic biology and contemporary evolution theory. He was working at the MvBZ as a pre-doctoral research fellow (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) for the DFG project "Genealogy and Belonging: Concepts of Reproduction, Descent and Kinship in Post-Kantian Naturphilosophie" with Susanne Lettow. The preliminary title of Greg's contribution to the project is "(Re)producing Life: Metamorphosis and Inheritance in Goethe's Biology."
