With its new tasks, the Margherita von Brentano Center is continuing the long history of Gender Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and carrying on the work of its predecessor institutions.
The organizational structure of the Margherita von Brentano Center is distinguished by the involvement of various players in Gender Studies. The center’s team and scholarly leadership are supported by a board of directors occupied by officeholders from Freie Universität Berlin institutions and committees responsible for Gender Studies. The center also receives input from an advisory board.
